Opentext today announced threat detection and responses for the Opentext core. It is a new AI-powered cybersecurity solution for threat detection and is generally available in Cloud Edition 25.2.
Opentext core threat detection and response is available in Microsoft Azure. The solution is deeply integrated with endpoints, Microsoft Entra IDs, and Microsoft Defender in Microsoft Security Copilot, allowing organizations to quickly and efficiently stop attacks before any damage occurs. Additionally, OpenText has a threat integration studio that allows customers to integrate and ingest telemetry from other network solutions, applications, security tools, and enterprise technologies, allowing them to integrate threat detection and response in OpenText cores.
“Companies need a way to continually adapt threat analysis to organizational unique behavior without further straining their security teams,” said Muhi Majzoub, OpentextEVP of security products. “OpenText CyberSecurity Cloud represents a major advance in advanced threat detection and investigation, providing a solution that can be used, implemented and maintained. Combinable open XDR architectures allow for easy-to-use and easy security tools. Identity management, data loss prevention, or endpoint protection also integrates threat detection solutions through a simple integration kit to provide insights for applications, endpoints, and customer. Network. This is part of a broader strategy to provide an overall security solution that protects the entire attack surface.”
In summary, the OpenText core threat detection and response are:
Increased security attitude: Using hundreds of AI algorithms, dramatically enhance detection capabilities and accuracy, helping organizations improve security attitudes without the need for complex security stack overhauls. Rapid detection and elimination: Advanced anomaly detection that dynamically adapts to changes in the operating environment and ensures contextually related threat detection. With multi-cloud integration, automatic correlation of Opentext anomalies significantly reduces the time required to uncover critical threats. Adaptive Learning: A platform powered by advanced machine learning models continues to evolve with each organization’s unique environment and insider threat landscape, improving detection accuracy over time. Simplified Deployment: This configurable solution integrates seamlessly with Microsoft and other cybersecurity tools, reducing setup times and providing immediate value. Built-in cybersecurity aviators transform AI-generated threat detection insights, alerting SOC analysts’ plain language, allowing faster precautions. Cost prevention and ROI: Solutions actively hunt threats that help organizations reduce potential exposure to multi-million dollar incidents. Additionally, in collaboration with other security tools, the solution aims to maximize the value and ROI of its customers’ previous investments.
Opentext Core Threat Detection and Response are currently available as a limited release for selecting customers.
