Artificial intelligence and native security company Straiker launched today with the announcement that it has raised $21 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners LP and Bain Capital Ventures.
The company has implemented solutions designed to protect the entire scope of enterprise AI applications, from AI-Native apps to agents. Straiker aims to help organizations deploy AI with confidence by addressing the critical security and safety risks that AI Apps Enterprises is building and deploying. The solution includes automated red team-level assessments within the security guardrail for continuous analysis and automated blocking.
The company says it leverages intelligence from each layer of the AI application stack, including users, models, applications, agents, identities and data, to ensure accurate assessment results and industry-leading protection.
Two AI-Native models are commonly introduced. The first AI performs detailed attack simulations using a highly curated set of AI-specific safety and security threats. Second, protecting AI extends protection beyond the rapid level of threats to protect AI applications and agents from a wide range of security and security threats.
Both modules feature Straiker AI Engine. It uses a small, fine-tuned mix of models that infer beyond intelligence from every layer of the AI application stack. This engine uses an architecture designed to maintain privacy, allowing customization to address your unique safety and security requirements.
This service is supported by Straiker’s Star Team. This is a dedicated AI threat intelligence team that modern models and autonomous agents investigate risks and tactics, techniques and procedures employed by their enemies.
The company already has customers using the service, including People.ai Inc., Coupa Software Inc. and DirectV LLC.
“AI is rapidly becoming one of the most important cybersecurity risks. Companies must act now to stay ahead of these new risks and make AI security your number one priority.” “Straiker is the only AI-Native platform that provides real-time protection from attacks targeting each layer of AI app and agent.”
