The downside of being a free ChatGpt user has been a huge hit over the past week. Paying subscribers made us look gross on bystanders, while social media flooded with Studio Ghibli-style memes and self-portraits, the rest of us looked gross on bystanders with tickets to the AI art party.
Well, our time has come. Openai has made the latest image generator available to free UK users, so you can finally see what the fuss is.
In short, this tool can create images in a variety of styles, using both text descriptions and uploaded files such as photos, with the help of OpenAI’s most powerful AI model, GPT-4O.
What can ChatGpt Image Generation do?
The internet may have been wiped out with Studio Ghibli iconography, but there’s more to AI Perk. You can use it to create everything from photorealistic humans and animals in realistic and fantastical scenarios to business logos, educational materials, comic strips, and video game characters.
Similar to ChatGPT interactions, follow-up instructions also allow you to narrow down your creations and upload more images.
How to use ChatGpt image generation
When you open ChatGpt, you will receive a message informing you that the Image Generator is available. To use it, select the (Create Image) button on the prompt bar at the bottom of the page and start typing the direction. If you want to modify an existing image, you can also upload it here.
If you are satisfied with the text, press Enter and wait for the results. Please note: the process can take more than a minute, so you need to be patient.
And since this is the free version, it comes with some serious limitations. You can only upload a few files before you are asked to cough for your subscription. There is also a limit to the number of images per day.
If you’re wondering, sign up for a ChatGpt Plus membership for a $20 (£15.36) per month to go further. And if you really love it and have the chance to afford it, you can get unlimited access to Protia for $200 per month (£153.64).
