Cineverse on December 18 announced the launch of Matchpoint Reel Visuals AI, a new artificial intelligence software designed to enhance marketers’ ability to generate revenue from streaming content.

The software is designed to help third-party content holders of feature films, TV shows, and podcasts take advantage of the growing demand from AI companies to acquire audio/video content to train artificial intelligence models. .

Through our non-proprietary revenue sharing service, Cineverse ensures that content creators and rights holders are compensated for the use of their video content in AI training, while also reducing associated distribution costs.

According to Cineverse, through this technology suite, content partners will benefit from additional efficiencies, including the ability to quickly ingest, normalize, distribute, and store large amounts of video content with integrated rights management capabilities. You can.

The company aims to provide complete end-to-end solutions that eliminate shipping costs, increase profit margins and reduce time to market. Cineverse has licensed AI rights to over 350,000 hours of video and audio content.

“We want to ensure that those who control the fundamental rights to movies and TV shows used to train[AI models]are fairly compensated while leveraging our technology to reduce costs. We support them,” he said in a statement.

According to a recent report from Grand View Research, the global AI training dataset market was valued at $2.6 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $10.31 billion by 2030.

Tony Hoidor, Cineverse’s chief operating officer and chief technology officer, said in a statement that “intellectual property rights are respected and content owners are appropriately compensated. “We are playing an important leadership role by establishing a much-needed framework that provides assurance.”

Cineverse also developed its AI-powered content discovery tool cineSearch. This was acknowledged in this month’s Media Play News cover story, “The Most Transformative Victories in AI in 2024,” which called it “a game-changer that will redefine how viewers discover movies and TV shows.” I’m here.

Additionally, our partnership with XL8 brings AI-driven captioning and localization to the Matchpoint platform, enhancing accessibility and personalization for audiences around the world. These advances have positioned Cineverse as a leader in AI-driven entertainment discovery and distribution.
