ServiceNow has launched the Yokohama platform, which deploys AI agents from various sectors, drives workflows and maximizes end-to-end business impact.
The Yokohama Platform Release features a team of pre-configured AI agents designed to provide immediate productivity improvements. These agents operate on a single, unified platform, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across a variety of business functions. The platform also includes the ability to build, install and manage the entire AI agent lifecycle, making it easier for businesses to adopt and scale AI solutions.
Data is the lifeblood of AI, and ServiceNow recognizes this by expanding its knowledge graphs by introducting into the general service data model (CSDM). This extension is intended to break down barriers between data sources and enable more connected, intelligent AI agents. By integrating data from a variety of sources, ServiceNow’s platform ensures that AI agents operate in a comprehensive view of the company, driving more informed decisions and actions.
The need for “Guardian Agents”
According to Gartner, by 2028, 40% of CIOs will request “parent agents” to autonomously track, supervise or contain the outcome of AI agent actions. This underscores the growing need for a coordinated enterprise-wide approach to AI deployment and management.
ServiceNow’s Yokohama release meets this need by acting as an AI agent control tower for businesses. The platform removes common obstacles such as data fragmentation, governance gaps, and real-time performance challenges, ensuring seamless data connections with the workflow data fabric.
Unlike other AI providers that run on silos or require complex integration, ServiceNow AI agents are built on a single enterprise-wide platform. This ensures seamless data connections and provides a single view of all your workflow, AI, and automation needs.
Amit Zavery, CEO, Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer of ServiceNow, commented: “Agent AI is a new frontier. Enterprise leaders don’t just experiment with AI agents. They demand AI solutions that help them achieve productivity at scale.
“ServiceNow’s industry-leading Agent AI framework meets this need by providing predictability and efficiency from the start. The combination of all platforms of Agent AI, data fabric, and workflow automation makes it easier for organizations to embed connected AI where work takes place, measuring and driving business outcomes faster, smarter, at scale.”
ServiceNow’s new AI agent aims to accelerate productivity
ServiceNow’s new AI agents are now available to accelerate productivity at scale. These agents are designed to drive the real outcomes of use cases across the enterprise. for example:
Security Operations (SECOPS) Expert AI Agents: These agents transform security operations by streamlining the entire incident lifecycle, eliminating repetitive tasks, and allowing SECOPS teams to focus on quickly stopping real threats. Autonomous Change Management AI Agents: When acting like a veteran change manager, these agents generate custom implementations, tests and backout plans by analyzing impacts, historical data, and similar changes to ensure seamless execution with minimal risk. Proactive Network Testing and Repair AI Agents: These AI-powered troubleshooters automatically detect, diagnose and resolve network issues before they affect performance.
ServiceNow AI Agent Orchestrators and AI Agent Studios generally have extensions to manage the complete AI Agent lifecycle.
These tools help streamline the setup process with guided instructions, and use natural language instructions to facilitate the design and configuration of new AI agents. The enhanced performance management features include an analytics dashboard to visualize the usage, quality, and value of AI agents. You may be able to easily track the performance and ROI of your AI agent.
The core of the ServiceNow platform is the workflow data fabric, enabling AI-powered workflows that integrate with organizational data, regardless of system or source. This fabric allows businesses to gain deeper insights through AI-driven contextualization and decision intelligence, automate manual tasks and generate process efficiency.
The Yokohama release continues to expand ServiceNow’s knowledge graph data capabilities by extending its common service data model (CSDM). CSDM provides a standardized framework for managing IT and business services, accelerating the deployment of fast, secure and compliant technologies.
Several customers and partners have already seen the benefits of ServiceNow’s AI solutions. Cancom, Cognizant, Davies and Sentara all praise the platform’s ability to drive efficiency, cost reduction and productivity. These organizations have integrated ServiceNow AI agents into operations.
“We are pleased to announce that Jason Wojahn, global head of ServiceNow business group at Cognizant, said: He was the first person to bring ServiceNow workflow data fabric to the market, working to help clients connect data seamlessly with AI.
“The release of Yokohama and integration of AI agents into the current platform allow clients to effectively easily manipulate connected data, productivity and ROI across their business.”
Darrell Burnell, Davies’ technology group head, added: We transformed the agent experience with ServiceNow’s Generation AI, deploying ITSM assistance in just 6 weeks, and ITSM assistance in accelerating information search and resolution. ”
The release of ServiceNow’s Yokohama platform is a step further in the evolution of AI for business transformation. ServiceNow aims to help businesses achieve faster, smarter workflows and maximize impact by unlocking new AI agents and expanding data capabilities.
