AI Accountability and Personal Data Protection Act limits AI companies from using copyrighted materials to train their models, allowing them to sue them for using their data without their consent.
The proposal for the bill comes weeks after the Senate voted for President Donald Trump’s tax cuts and spending bill rules that would have banned state-level regulations on artificial intelligence for 10 years.
