Vectra AI is recognized as the leader of the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Discovery and Response (NDR).
Gartner Magic Quadrant is a research method and graphical representation that evaluates technology vendors within a particular market, in this case, emerging areas of NDR. Vectra AI is in this latest report, with its ability to implement visual integrity and its farthest and highest position, demonstrating important awareness within the cybersecurity sector.
This distinction shows that cybersecurity concerns remain pronounced for Australian organizations, with PWC data showing that 67% of Australian organizations identified cyber risk as their biggest concern for next year. Other issues, such as inflation, economic volatility, and geopolitical factors, were ranked as lower priorities. In response to these concerns, half of the organizations that surveyed the survey planned to increase their cybersecurity budget by at least 6% in 2025.
Vectra AI’s platform is designed to protect hybrid environments from identity and network-based attacks. According to the company, AI agents are an approach aimed at continuing to triage, correlate, prioritizing real threats in real time, accelerate security expert responses, and reduce alert fatigue. The platform provides coverage across cloud infrastructure, data centers, remote workforce and operational technology domains, supporting security teams to mature their security operations.
Hitesh Sheth, founder and CEO of Vectra AI, commented on Gartner’s decision to launch the magical quadrant of NDR. “Gartner’s decision to expose the magical quadrants of NDR reflects just how essential this market has become to modern cyber defense,” Sheth said.
He said, “Being recognized as a leader in this first report strengthens Vectra AI’s position at the forefront of this critical space. As organizations tackle complexity, identity-based attacks and AI-driven threats, the Vectra AI platform offers what modern defenders need – coverage reduces exposure, reduces speed and reduces confidence.
Vectra AI is also the sole vendor of reports selected as both the leader of NDR’s Gartner Magic Quadrant and the winner of Gartner Peer Insights Customers 2024. According to Gartner Peer Insights, as of January 2024, Vectra AI held 4.8 out of five ratings from 96 customer reviews, indicating that 96% recommend the platform. This customer feedback contributes to positioning in the latest Magic Quadrant reports.
The increased complexity of cybersecurity threats, including the speed at which attackers can move horizontally across their identity, cloud and network layers, has led to increased demand for integrated security solutions. Like sector analysts and Vectra AI, traditional siloed security tools can make organizations vulnerable and allow unified visibility and AI-driven detection to respond quickly to threats.
The NDR market is growing as organizations seek to complement existing security strategies with solutions that allow organizations to provide greater detection accuracy and more timely response. Vectra AI’s platform aims to provide security teams with the means to detect, hunt, investigate and respond to attacks that span a complete threat situation.
The company is recognized for its commitment to customer satisfaction, and product performance and support are frequently highlighted in customer reviews. Vectra AI focuses on ongoing development to meet the ever-evolving tactics used by threat actors targeting modern networks.
The Gartner Report recognizes vendors who demonstrate both their ability to implement their strategies and their vision integrity in the NDR market. The dual acclaim of Vectra AI from both analyst and customer perspectives is because cyber defense continues to be prioritized by organizations involved in changing digital threat landscapes.
