Synthesia, an AI-powered enterprise video communications platform, has announced that it has raised $180 million (starting from £147 million) in a Series D funding round.
This latest round of funding takes the London-based technology company’s total raised to over $330 million (starting from £270 million) and valuing the company at $2.1 billion (starting from £1.7 billion).
According to Dealroom, this means Synthesia is now the UK’s largest generative AI media company by valuation and second in the overall AI category.

The company’s latest round is backed by US investment firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA), which provides a platform that allows users to create highly realistic custom AI avatars for corporate video communications and materials. led.
Existing investors such as Google Ventures, MMC Ventures, and FirstMark participated, as well as new backers such as WiL (World Innovation Lab), Atlassian Ventures, and PSP Growth.
The AI company says the new milestone will fuel the company’s next phase of growth, support product development and talent growth, and leverage AI to meet the needs of several international markets, including Japan and North America. He said he would expand the platform.
Today, the company has offices in seven countries around the world, customers in many markets and industries, and just over half of its revenue comes from the United States.
