The new platform uses synthetic voice to deliver up to five alternative language tracks per channel
AI-Media has announced the release of Lexi Voice Translation at its NAB Show.
According to AIM, the product uses AI to provide real-time alternative language voice output, supporting up to five alternative tracks per channel. Monologic broadcasts can be converted into multiple languages using composite voices, which the company described as natural sounds.
Lexi Voice can translate VoiceTracks into over 100 languages. Voice can be customized according to region, gender and tone. Glossary and voice tools are available to ensure consistency in brands and names.
The company said Lexi Voice is available at US$30 per hour and is also available at Lexi’s standard caption rate. Works with AIM’s global encoder network including Alta, Encoder Pro-HD 492 and ICAP.
According to AIM, the NAB Show said customers can now watch the Lexi Voice Platform live.
