Innovative company Desman is expanding its presence in North America with its new brand Desloc. Under this brand, Desman launches a smart lock called Desloc B200. This smart lock features AI-enabled fingerprint scanning, remote control functionality, and do-it-yourself installation features, perfect for DIY fans. This device is currently available in the US.

The Desloc B200 is the second smart lock entry under the new entity and it is no different. Desloc B200 is designed for easy installation
While the lock itself is a sleek, modern smart lock, its distinguishing feature is its easy DIY installation, which eliminates the need to call in a professional or technician to install your device. According to Desloc, with a detailed installation guide, the B200 can be installed in just 15 minutes.
Desloc also includes all the necessary components for installation inside the retail box, from various screws and plates to a set of keys and batteries. All you need in your toolbox is a screwdriver.
The Desloc B200 has a deadbolt locking mechanism, so it works with most standard exterior and interior doors in your home.

The company also says the smart lock is durable, made of aluminum alloy material and has an IP54 rating to protect electronic devices from dust and water when installed at outdoor doorways. At this time, the B200 is only available in black.
The Desloc B200 is powered by four AA batteries, which the manufacturer says will last about a year. The device also has a built-in battery indicator to let you know when it’s time to replace the battery. If your battery dies while you’re out and about, there’s no need to worry. A USB-C emergency port allows you to power the lock externally.
AI-enabled fingerprint scanning on Desloc B200
In addition to a peep-proof numeric keypad, the Desloc B200 integrates a fingerprint scanner on the top and has already been verified by more than 10,000 users. The biometric sensor can support up to 50 fingerprint IDs. It is also equipped with a dedicated security chip and leverages AI to enhance security and accelerate unlocking speed. The company says it unlocks in less than 0.3 seconds, which is faster than most smart locks with fingerprint scanners.
The mobile app allows you to set up to 150 PIN codes, including mechanical and electronic keys (eKeys), as well as temporary passcodes for visitors or guests. This feature is great for AirBnB owners.
Smart app and remote control access for Desloc B200
Desloc’s B200 smart lock is compatible with popular smart home ecosystems. If you want to use advanced remote control features, you will need a dedicated G2 Gateway hub, sold separately. Alternatively, it is also available as a bundle offer with a smart lock.
There is a close proximity control that works using Bluetooth connectivity on iPhone and Android. Meanwhile, the B200 also supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants set up with a gateway hub. Alternatively, you can use the tap-to-unlock feature on Android phones with NFC.

A convenient feature is auto-lock. The mobile app allows you to define specific times when the B200 will automatically lock. You also have the option to receive real-time notifications from the app about your smart lock’s activity, including alerts when tampering is detected. If you need more security, you can enable a privacy mode that only accepts administrator passwords and physical key unlocks.

The company offers hotline service in the United States Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) and provides 24/7 email support.
