Jakarta, Indonesia, July 17, 2025 – Google Cloud Today has announced Indonesia Belldia for security, a cybersecurity-centric program that enhances organizations with best-in-class cloud security solutions, expertise and training to enhance cyberresilience in Indonesia’s key economic sectors and digital runcaps.
The core of the program is the launch of a new security operations data region for Google Cloud in Indonesia, hosted at Google Cloud Data Centers in Jakarta. This allows more organizations in Indonesia, including government agencies and businesses in regulated industries, to take advantage of an intelligence-driven, AI-enabled Google Security Operations platform while meeting local data residency requirements.

The latest AI-injected security operations
Google Security Operations will enable you to detect and mitigate new threats while driving exponential benefits for security teams’ productivity. The platform allows organizations to ingest security telemetry data through their IT environments (on-premises, Google Cloud, or MulticoLoud), using data residency controls, and provide a wealth of Google Threat Intelligence and Google threat intelligence to uncover compromise metrics. It also leverages AI tools supported by security-tuned Gemini models to enhance integrated security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR).
Security teams today face threat overload. Analyze and respond to hundreds of alerts per day. Each alert can be the first indication of a major security incident, but their number is relatively small. The Google Security Operations ‘Alight-on Alert Triage Agent deals with threat overload by autonomously gathering context for suspicious activity, analyzing command-line instructions, and mapping a series of events. Next, use the recommendations from the next step to judge each alert, such as severity.
When a higher-priority contextualized incident emerges, Google Security Operations Investigation Assistant reduces the hardships associated with deeper investigation and remediation (i.e. manual, repetitive, automated, tactical tasks). For example, when conducting an investigation into a potential threat, security analysts can simply ask their assistant about suspicious activity and receive a brief summary of their findings. Analysts can quickly generate complex search queries for threat hunting using natural language, and instead of manually writing them in a specialized computer language, they can also create sophisticated detection rules to identify specific malware or threat actor techniques. Additionally, analysts can rely on Google Security Operations playbook assistants to build an entire SOAR playbook that automates incident response workflows.
There is an effort to train more security professionals, but AI can help bridge the talent gaps of resource-constrained SOCs. For example, using Alert Triage Agent, Research Assistant, and Playbook Assistant, junior security analysts previously needed deep expertise in specific computing query languages and scripts, and ultimately expand the capabilities of their security teams, allowing them to do so with less.
