Google Cloud has introduced Indonesia Berdaia, a program focused on enhancing cyber resilience in key sectors across Indonesia, using artificial intelligence-enabled cyber defense solutions.
The core element of this program is the launch of a new security operations data region for Google Cloud in Jakarta. The regional infrastructure will allow government agencies and organizations that include highly regulated industries to store security telemetry data nationally. The company says it meets the residency requirements for local data while still providing access to an intelligence-driven, AI-enabled Google Security Operations platform.
Research cited by Google Cloud shows that the deployment of advanced AI security tools and threat intelligence could help Indonesian organizations move to a reactive cybersecurity strategy. Over the next five years, this approach is projected to reduce cyberattack-related losses by at least IDR 29 trillion (US$1.8 billion).

The program is based on Google Cloud’s established security transformation framework and combines its technology, expertise and a network of managed security service providers (MSSP) partners. Indonesia Belldia Security aims to provide an independent security assessment, advise on best practices to enhance security attitudes, and develop tailored strategies to establish and optimize security operations or security operations centres (SOCs). Deploying Google Security Operations with AI tools and security-tuned Gemini models is aimed at reducing repetitive manual work and accelerate detection and response to threats.
Organizations participating in this program can expect to help track key performance indicators such as average time (MTTD) and average time (MTTR) for response time (MTTR) and track key performance indicators such as 24/7 threat detection, investigation, and response support by Mandiant experts. The program also offers a variety of workforce training opportunities, including on-demand, instructor-led, and hands-on courses through Google Cloud Skills Boost and through the organization and Mandiant Academy.

Security Operations Platform
Google Security Operations enable security data collection across your IT environment and incorporates data residency control. Powered by Google Threat Intelligence, the platform discovers compromise metrics through forensic analysis and leverages AI-based integrated security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) functionality.
The platform addresses the threat overload challenges that security teams face hundreds of alerts each day. That always alert triage agent autonomously analyzes suspicious activity, reviews command-line instructions, maps a set of events, and provides recommendations along with alert severity ratings.
Google Security Operations Investigation Assistant is designed to reduce manuals, repetitive tasks in threat investigation and remediation. Security analysts can interact with assistants using natural language, request summaries, generate complex queries, and create detection rules or SOAR playbooks without specialized programming knowledge.
The company emphasizes that by combining machine learning and generative AI tools, it addresses the skilled workforce shortage in the security field and provides advanced capabilities for less experienced analysts.
