Letzai is becoming the go-to platform for high-quality AI-generated images. Its mission to democratize and personalize AI-powered image generation has emerged as one of the most popular and high quality options on the market.
problem:
In 2023, Neon Internet CEO and co-founder Misstrotz was impressed by the clever ideas. It gives Luxembourgian residents the power to easily generate local images using AI. Within a month, Letzai V1, which is mainly in Luxembourg, was live.
Encouraged by strong local demand, Slotz and his team began working on a global version of the platform. vision? The opt-in AI platform empowers brands, creators, artists and individuals, unlocks endless creative possibilities by adding unique images, art styles and products. “Other AI platforms are cutting the internet and taking in people and their content without permission. We wanted to put choice and strength in each person’s hands,” explains Strotz.
Eventually, the team began working on V2. In addition to generating images generated for higher quality, more personalized AI, V2 promotes consistency across objects, characters and styles. After uploading your own photos and creating your own models, users can blend with other models created by the community to create an infinite number of unique images.
However, Letzai faced major hurdles in training and launching the V2. This is a global GPU shortage. With limited resources to train models, Letzai needed a trusted partner to help advance AI-driven platforms and make them run smoothly.
Solution:
In searching for the right partner, Slotz spoke to major vendors such as Hyperschool and a variety of European-based providers. Meeting with GCORE’s product leadership team made this decision clear. “It was amazing to meet an executive who was extremely knowledgeable about technology and took us seriously,” recalls Slotz.
GCORE’s approach to data security and sovereignty further solidified the decision. “We needed a trusted partner who shared our commitment to European data protection principles, and we incorporated that into the development of our platform,” he continues.
result:
Letzai has chosen Gcore’s cutting edge Nvidia H100 GPU in Luxembourg. “This is the perfect option and keeps model training and development local. With GCORE you can rent GPUs rather than the entire server, making it a much more cost-effective solution by avoiding unnecessary costs such as excess storage and idle server capacity,” explains Strotz. This approach provided flexibility, efficiency and high performance tailored specifically for AI workloads.
Letzai adapted the app to run in containers, configured model training tasks to run in GPU cloud, and was able to use inference everywhere for image generation and upscaling. “Inference everywhere reduces output latency, improves performance for AI-enabled apps, and allows you to optimize your workflow for more accurate, real-time results,” says Strotz.
In just two months, Letzai V2 was launched to serve users around the world. And Slotz and the team were already developing successors.
Enhance your creativity with scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure
With continued support from Gcore, Letzai quickly deployed V3. “The GCORE team was extremely sensitive to our needs and led us to the best solutions to evolve.
Requirements. This has given us a strong and efficient infrastructure that can bend according to demand,” says Strotz.
Running V3 on GCORE means Letzai users experience fast and reliable performance. Artists, individuals and brands have already used V3 in an interesting way. In response to what Letzai calls “AI Challenges,” for example, the Luxembourg restaurant chain urged residents to use pizza models to create thousands of images.
In another example, Letzai worked with the Digital Agency Loop to dress Puma’s virtual influencer and avatar Laila in a Moroccan football jersey. According to Strotz, “Puma had a hard time making clothes look realistic at Laila. When they saw our images, they said the results were 1,000 times better than what they tried.”
That wasn’t the only brand that was intrigued by the possibilities of V3. After Letzai posted a V3-generated image of a model wearing Sloggi underwear, Sloggi’s creative agency Stan Studios asked Letzai to generate more images for market testing.
Always looking for new ways to support creators, Letzai has also launched an Image Upscaler feature that enhances images and doubles the resolution. “Our creators can now solve common AI image issues with quality and resolution. Inference is crucial everywhere in providing the power and speed required for these dynamic image enhancements,” Strotz said.
Platform evolution and AI innovation are unlimited
Because the model exceeds the expectations of users around the world, Letzai can rely on GCORE to handle large numbers of requests. With confidence in generating endless numbers of high quality images on the spot, Letzai can continue to expand quickly and become a sustainable, innovation-driven business.
“As we evolve further, our partnership with GCORE will be central to Letzai’s continued success by adding video capabilities to our platform,” concluded Strotz.
