Since Openai introduced deep research, we have been able to create AI agents We conducted surveys for our users, generated comprehensive reports, and released by many other companiesEIR’s unique version This feature is all called Deep Research.
In-depth research as a feature and product can be accessed from a variety of platforms, including Google’s Gemini, Alphasense, You.com, Deepseek, and Grok 3. Currently, French company Mistral is in the fight to launch Deep Research Fabilities, among other updates to the platform.
In a blog post, the company said deep research and other new features will become “more capable, more intuitive and more enjoyable.”
LE chat users can open survey mode and ask something. The chatbot asks questions to clarify some information and begins collecting sources. Here we’ll compile a “Structured Reference Support Report that You Can Easily Follow.”

Mistral said the research feels like it will work with organized research partners driven by deep research agents designed to be “really useful.”
In-depth research is called “the first mass market AI that can drive away work” especially because it allows for reporting faster than human analysts.
Mistral has updated “Thinking Mode.” Here, LeChat users can access the company’s thinking model Magrallal and read and respond in a variety of languages. You can also code a switch in a sentence.
Prompt-based image editing and other features
For those who create images in the chat app, you can ask the chatbot to edit some of the photos. Users can say things like “generate cat pictures.” And when you ask LeChat to “put him in Istanbul,” it does exactly that.
“It’s great for consistent editing throughout the series and maintaining design elements that allow people, objects and design elements to be recognized in the next image,” Mistral said.
Thanks to Voxtral, a recently released voice recognition model, Le Chat is now able to support Voice Mode. Users can now chat loudly on the platform. The company said the mode is great for low-latency speech recognition and is great for keeping up with someone’s conversational pace.
Le Chat’s new project capabilities allow users to organize relevant conversations and topics into groups. The project utilizes its own library containing the uploaded files and preserves the tools and preferences. This is similar to Google’s NoteBooklm.
Do a catch up
Many of the new features in Le Chat may seem familiar. It is normal for other chat platforms to implement similar features. Especially since you start to expect these features when using the chat system.
For example, both Gemini and ChatGpt allow users to edit the generated photos using the prompt. Sometimes, chatbots misunderstand the entire image and try again. However, I recently used ChatGpt to generate and edit photos. The chatbot deleted exactly what I wanted.
ChatGpt always included a “read out loud” feature, but Voice Mode is available with ChatGpt. Google’s Project Astra takes the voice mode to a new level, showing that in the demo, users can point out something in the physical world to Gemini and ask them to explain it loudly.
However, Mistral has the advantage of being based in Europe, allowing it to directly bring functionality to the European market. Companies like Openai often have a hard time bringing certain services to Europe, such as ChatGpt’s Advanced Voice Mode, due to data regulations and some provisions in the European Union’s AI Act.
Nonetheless, users seemed excited that Mistral brought many new and powerful features to Le Chat. Some early users see strong performance from deep research on Mistral.
