Mixed messages about AI (optimistic marketing claims and dystopian warnings about potential dangers) make it difficult for the general public to understand what AI is and what its implications are. It’s becoming difficult to determine what’s going on. To help bridge this understanding gap, Partnership on AI is launching Beyond the Code, a new online series produced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions that explores how AI is impacting people’s lives. .

This series tells human-driven stories about a doctor driving pancreatic cancer detection, a Nepalese entrepreneur aiming to make technology education more accessible, and building a tool to predict flooding in at-risk areas. We bring together AI innovations to help innovators create digital copies of cities, and pioneers to create digital copies of cities. We support new sustainable initiatives from aerial images.
