Purdue University Partner to advance research into AI security and compliance :: I-Connect007

Collaborative Digital Innovations (CDI) is the company behind Compliq, a cutting-edge AI security and compliance platform, and has entered into a research partnership with Purdue University’s Center for Information Assurance and Security Research (CERIAS). The collaboration aims to promote AI security, governance and compliance innovation and enhance protection against hostile threats in regulated industries.

The collaboration aims to promote AI security, governance and compliance innovation and enhance protection against hostile threats in regulated industries.

Collaborative Digital Innovations (CDI) is the company behind Compliq, a cutting-edge AI security and compliance platform, and has entered into a research partnership with Purdue University’s Center for Information Assurance and Security Research (CERIAS). The collaboration aims to promote AI security, governance and compliance innovation and enhance protection against hostile threats in regulated industries.

The partnership combines CDI’s expertise in AI assurance, threat intelligence and compliance automation with Cerias’ world-class research in cyber and cyberphysical security, privacy, autonomy, and trustworthy AI. Organizations will develop solutions that increase AI observability, improve threat detection, and ensure compliance with strict regulatory requirements across financial services, healthcare, government and other critical sectors.

As part of this collaboration, Compliq will be joining the Cerias External Advisory Committee (EAB) to ensure that university research and education receive valuable industry input. This partnership strengthens CDI’s commitment to advances in AI security research. “The Purdue University’s Cerias Institute has made measurable impacts by promoting research, expanding education and promoting technology transfer,” said Chad Justic, CEO of Collaborative Digital Innovations. “We are honored to contribute to this mission and cooperate with real-world solutions that enhance AI security and compliance.”

Key areas of focus include:

AI Threat Intelligence – Enhance AI security through real-time threat detection and intelligence integration. Regulatory Compliance Automation – Develop frameworks to meet evolving compliance standards for AI systems. Hostile threat mitigation – Address risks such as rapid injection, data addiction, and model manipulation. AI Audiability and Transparency – Blockchain for explainability, monitoring, and governance of AI-driven decisions.

“Cerias focuses on cyber-related issues that make our global community safer. Sharing our vision and partnering with industry leaders like Compliq at the “top of the spear” of emerging technologies will help us do impactful research and educate the next generation of industry leaders.”

This partnership leverages interdisciplinary research and launches new research and development to enhance AI security in regulated industries, helping organizations maintain compliance and resilience to emerging threats while navigating AI adoption.
