Ai to be handed over from the artist
In recent years, both local and non-local artists have been threatened by AI Image Generation websites such as Openai’s Midjourney and Dall-E Image Generator.
Artists such as Hayao Miyazaki and Karla Ortiz stole works stolen by these sites. Their creativity is taken up by algorithms, and there is no real way to break it with others and form work without human interaction, and fight this on a large scale. As long as you post your work online, it doesn’t matter how small you are, what kind of medium you are. If you’re an artist, try searching for names using Hasibeentrained.com.
A small group like the people who work at nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu/ is a site that makes small changes to art, so that AI sees it as completely different to what it is ruining the generation process, and has been able to mitigate some of the damage that AI does to artists, but that’s just a small part of those who don’t really matter.
This thief should not simply give it a sheen. Technology advancements are important. Yes, but we have not made a sacrifice to our humanity, so when we want to draw something, we recommend commissioning a real human artist for their work.
