Elon Musk “disappointed” over Trump’s tax bill

Elon Musk told CBS he was “disappointed” by President Donald Trump’s “big and beautiful” tax bill.

President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful bill” is one of the most talked about laws today.

One of the fans is US Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, leader of Georgia.

What is the big beautiful bill?

The “Big and Beautiful Bill Act,” simply known as the “Big Beautiful Bill,” is a tax and policy bill that involves over 1,000 pages of changes to President Donald Trump’s cleaning tax and policy bill. Passing through the US home on May 22, Politico reported that he was most likely to hit the Senate floor in the last week of June.

Does Marjorie Taylor Greene support the big beautiful bill?

Green has voted in favor of “Big Beautiful Building” and is extremely vocal in supporting it. Posts supporting it all came across her social media, with the latest media last night saying she wasn’t happy with the price tag on X, but it still says “voters from America’s first MAGA mandate gave us in November.”

We have to pass it on!!

What does the big beautiful bill say about AI?

The bill includes section 43201: “Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology Modernization Initiative.” If the bill is passed in this section, the state will prohibit the implementation of AI laws or regulations, except in a number of specific circumstances. This applies to laws or regulations that limit, restrict or regulate an AI model, AI system, or an automated decision system entered into an interstate commerce transaction.

In other parts, the bill will go further by investing funds in AI projects covering naval shipbuilding, unmanned aerial systems, audits and more.

What did Marjorie Taylor Green say about AI?

It’s not just price tags about Bill Green’s dissatisfaction. In fact, the AI Law Block is something she is extremely upsetting, as she showed in another post earlier on Tuesday.

“We don’t know what AI will be able to do over the next decade. It’s potentially dangerous to tie up free reins and state hands,” Green said. “This needs to be stripped up by the Senate. When the OBBB returns home for approval after the Senate has been changed, I will not vote for it.”

So why did she vote for it? Green says at the time she didn’t know about it and would vote against it if she knew it.

Full transparency, I didn’t know about this section on pages 278-279 of the OBBB, which removes the right to enact laws or regulate AI for 10 years.

I am adamant about this, and it is a violation of the state’s rights and if I had known that this was on pic.twitter.com/bip3hztsgq, I wouldn’t have voted

– June 3, 2025, Marjorie Taylor Green (@RepMTG)

Reaction to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s controversial post

The post has since become a virus with over 11 million views on X alone. Some people are grateful for defending and rethinking her mistakes, but many are furious at Green’s ignorance.

“Explain this like I’m 5 years old. Did Marjorie Taylor Green vote for a bill she didn’t even read?” “Full transparency? You acknowledge that you voted for a bill you didn’t read.

Grok, X’s AI, with Green at odds, gave several different takes depending on who asked to weigh it, but here is one of the lower middle responses to the commenters involved. There are major details, especially on influential issues like AI, but they are useful for using AI, but thorough reviews are effective.
