Vadodara, June 17, 2025 – The Research Project Committee, led by Dr. Anupama Mishra, successfully organized a seminar on “AI of Research” aimed at educating participants about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic and industrial research.
The seminar covered an insightful keynote by Dr. Chetan Agrawal, whose deep knowledge of the links between AI tools and contemporary research was conveyed to the audience. The much-anticipated lecture has crossed many issues, including data analysis, pattern recognition, predictive modeling, and the ethics of AI in research. Dr. Agrawal highlighted the potential for AI transformation and clarified practical recommendations for incorporating AI tools into existing and future projects.
The event received positive participation from 41 faculty members from various departments of the university. The sessions are highly interactive, allowing participants to explore practical AI applications in the real world and enjoy meaningful learning experiences as researchers at all levels.
In a dedicated session, Dr. Anupama Mishra provided an insightful overview of the advanced research grant scheme offered by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). She detailed key aspects of the scheme, including eligibility criteria, procedures for drafting persuasive research proposals, and financial support available under the grant. She further highlighted the total funding provided by the ANRF, and emphasized the importance of adhering to application deadlines.
