Beyond mid-2024, we see that the Indian economy is resilient, but the growth trajectory remains uneven. Consumption is volatile, but in our industry, the book publishing and printing industry is increasing production capacity while newspapers are still sluggish.

Indian Printer and Publisher was founded in 1979 as the oldest B2B industry publication in the multi-platform and multi-channel IPPGroup, creating the category of privately owned B2B print magazines in the country. Also, diversification in packaging (South Asia Packaging), food processing and packaging (IndiFoodBev), health and medical supply chain and packaging (HealthTekPak), and community activities in training, research and conferences (Ipp Services, Training and Research www. ippstar.org) The organization continues to create a platform for quality information, data, technology insights, and events.

India is a vast and difficult terrain, and while the book publishing and commercial printing industries are recovering and adopting digital printing, the Indian newspaper industry needs to regain credibility and readership. The signage industry is slowly recovering and moving towards digital signage. New technologies such as digital 3D additive manufacturing, digital textiles and industrial printing are appearing on our pages. Trade media must be nimble and adapt to meet new business and technical information needs.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in both nominal and real terms and is the region where spending on printing equipment and supplies can vary the most from year to year. Your 2025 media kit is on the way, perfect for recalibrating your company’s role in this dynamic market, highlighting your visibility and relevance to existing customers, and turning potential markets into conversations. It’s that time of year.
