Costa Mesa defense company Anduril Industries and data analytics company Palantir Technologies have partnered to improve the use of artificial intelligence for the military and national security.
The companies will work to improve data preparation for AI training and algorithm development. We also plan to work on improving large-scale data processing.
“Ultimately, Palantir and Anduril look forward to expanding our partnerships with other industry partners who have unique contributions to this unique mission. Delivering the promise of AI for national security No company can,” Anduril said in a joint statement with Palantir yesterday.
Founded by OC entrepreneur Palmer Lackey, Anduril has significant backing from Denver-based Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) and its founder Peter Thiel.
