SINGAPORE – Innovators from companies big and small are getting ready to come together.

The newly launched Design AI and Tech Awards (Daita) has a new backer: multi-asset investment firm Granite Asia. Granite Asia offers all finalists a golden ticket to its network and consulting time with Senior Managing Partner Jenny Lee.

Co-organized by Business Times (BT) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), the competition inspires innovators from start-ups and businesses large and small to create ground-breaking projects that leverage design and technology to tackle real-world problems. The purpose is to develop solutions. Life business issues.

Lee said the true potential of artificial intelligence (AI) lies in its ability to solve real-world problems and provide meaningful value to businesses and communities.

“Daita provides an important platform to highlight innovations that demonstrate the practical impact of AI in addressing complex challenges,” she said.

“By supporting this initiative, we are not only recognizing great ideas,” she continued.

“We open the door to capital, connect entrepreneurs to Granite Asia’s network of operators and advisors, and offer exclusive masterclasses from leaders across our portfolio.”

The goal is to foster meaningful conversations, build trust and inspire more people and businesses to unlock the transformative potential of AI. ) said it included 21 companies.

Professor Tai chaired the judging committee, which included BT Editor Chen Huifeng, Design Singapore Council Executive Director Dawn Lim, and GreenA Consultants Senior Partner Farizan Davezak De. BT’s Mr Chen said: “Granite Asia’s dedication to supporting innovation aligns with the award’s mission to celebrate outstanding design and technology solutions that address real-world challenges.

“We are confident that the support will empower the shortlisted companies, unlock new opportunities and drive further innovation.”

There are three award categories: product design, system design, and space design.

There will be three finalists in each category, and prizes will be awarded to the top solutions in each category. The winner will be invited to the presentation.

Nine finalists will have access to events, masterclasses and networking opportunities with venture capital (VC) firm Granite Asia, and three finalists will receive additional consulting time.
