Recently, AI (artificial intelligence) transformation (AX) and generative AI have become hot topics in the industry, and companies are focusing on introducing and utilizing generative AI. However, when it comes to introducing AI, most companies are confused about where to start.
Zenon, an AI company, is attracting attention by providing business-to-business transaction solutions based on generative AI. We are an “end-to-end” AI service company that provides consistent support from the difficulty of problem definition that companies face in the process of introducing AI to planning, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance. Since its establishment, it has implemented more than 200 AI projects. In the first half of last year alone, it built generative AI services for eight financial companies, including KB Kookmin Bank, BC Card, and Mirae Asset Securities, and won projects in the public sector such as Korea Gas Corporation and Korea Central Electric Power.
Ko Seok-tae, CEO of Zenon, said, “Since around 2017, the importance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and AI has been emphasized, and many companies have started introducing AI, but most of them have not decided how to use it after making the investment.”He added, “We jumped into service development because we thought it was necessary to not only introduce technology, but also to define corporate issues and propose solutions through AI.”
Xenon’s core service is GenOS, an enterprise generative AI platform based on large-scale language models (LLMs). Genos aims to make it easy and fast for any field user to build and leverage AI services. From the user (human) perspective, you can play the role of an employee (workzeller) who does a good job.
First, Xenon consolidated the entire process from building the LLM production environment to data analysis, AI agent design, and deployment into a single platform, reducing deployment time and complexity. The biggest difference is that it is an “AI for enterprises” service that completes everything from corporate consulting to implementation.
For example, in the first project of Korea Central Electric Power’s Generative AI project, 81% of all employees continued to use the service for work, and based on this, the company succeeded in receiving consecutive orders for the second project.
Zenon successfully turned profitable in 2024, recording sales of 9.3 billion won and operating profit of 1.8 billion won. This is more than double sales compared to 2023. Representative Director Ko emphasized, “Zenon is currently focusing on improving the sophistication of “Actionable AI” (practical AI technology), which integrates AI into corporate systems and carries out the entire process from the start to completion of operations.
As the first step, Xenon developed “One Agent” last year, and the Korean Central Electric Power Company introduced it on a trial basis in December last year. This is an agent that directly executes tasks such as email creation, schedule management, and document processing within the system. This is a next-generation technology that uses AI to recognize the screen and operate the browser.
CEO Ko said, “In the medium to long term, we will develop OneAgent as a “physical AI” that combines hardware.” “Our company has succeeded in overseas projects by directly implementing AI projects not only in Korea but also in Indonesia, and in the future we plan to expand our business area from the domestic market to generative AI projects.”
