Kuala Lumpur, April 15 (Bernama) – AI-Media, a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven captioning and language technology, unveiled its groundbreaking live translation solution, Lexi Voice, at the NAB show in Las Vegas, showing massive advances in real-time multi-ringle broadcasting.

James Ward, chief sales officer at AI-Media, said Lexi Voice will deliver the accuracy, scalability and simplicity that its customers want at all at a disruptive price range.

“NAB was the first time customers saw a full Lexi Voice Solution live. The response confirmed what we know. The market is ready. This product changes what is possible with real-time multilingual engagement,” he said in a statement.

AI-powered technology has attracted great interest from global broadcasters, live event producers, streaming platforms and enterprise leaders thanks to its ability to translate monolingual broadcasts into multilingual experiences.

Using advanced AI, Lexi Voice generates natural-sounding composite voices in over 100 languages, with ultra-low latency of just 8-12 seconds.

Designed for simplicity and scalability, it is directly integrated with AIMEDIA’s existing caption infrastructure (Alta, Encoder Pro, ICAP, etc.) and uses the same application programming interface (API), scheduling and billing system. This plug-and-play setup makes recruitment seamless for current customers.

With a competitive price of USD 30 per hour (standard caption fee), Lexi Voice delivers up to 90% cost savings compared to traditional human interpreters. Key features include regional and gender voice customization, glossary tools for brand and name consistency, and support for up to five alternative language tracks per broadcast channel. (US $1 = RM4.40)

Real-world applications are already in progress using Lexi voice. It localizes sports and news from broadcasting stations to ensure that the government scales public session accessibility and internal communications for global teams. The streaming platform also employs technology to expand the reach of its global audience.

As part of AI-Media’s broader Lexi toolkit (including Lexi Brew (Generative AI) and Lexi Translate), Exi Voice is in line with the company’s strategic goal of tripling technology revenues by fiscal year 2029, reaching revenue of USD 10 million before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda).
