Italian insurance company Generali began research with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), investigating practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and how to provide competitive advantages to the insurance industry.
From January 2025, Generali and various business units will collaborate with three MIT research teams to search for new applications for existing AI -based solutions. The focus is in areas such as advanced risk modeling, property and victims, and smart underwriting.
