Another day, another random AI feature has a level of novel values, but probably doesn’t add a heap for daily utilities.
But that might be fun, I think so…
Today, Google launched a new element within its Flow AI creation tool. This allows you to animate still images.

Yes, you can talk about dogs. Because who doesn’t want to hear what a dog thinks over and over?
Except that’s not what your dog is thinking, it’s anything you ask an AI tool to say it. It can promote interesting and interesting uses.
As Google explained:
“Starting this week, you can add speeches to clips of flows when you use frames for video to get the most out of your flow. This feature allows you to bring in your own image to use as the starting frame for a video clip. VEO 3 allows you to add sound effects and background noise to these clips. You can now generate speeches as well. ”
To be fair, there are actually many different ways that you can use this, and it could trigger new content trends in social apps, just like how Google’s VEO AI video generation tool is already leading to various new clips.
You may have seen an AI Bigfoot video, or a short generated “Stormtrooper’s Day of Life” clip from a text prompt in VEO.

There are several interesting uses for Google’s AI video generator, and you can see how the ability to animate still images produces the same thing.
There was also an influx of offensive content created through the same, but primarily using racist or competent ratios as the central punchline for short video clips.
It is also enabled by Still Image Animation.
However, brands may be able to use this to give more personality to their product shots. Perhaps you’ll use the concept of content through AI Means, while still tying it into branding and promotional goals.
It could lead to some interesting experiments and depending on the results you generate, you may see many new users trying it out.
New AI image animation elements are available in the latest version of Flow.
