Creating high-quality videos requires long-term expertise in editing, audio mixing and visual effects. But now, creating a complete video may be as easy as writing a text prompt. Google has introduced a new tool aimed at making this process seamless for everyone.
The company has launched Vertex AI Media Studio, an innovative generation AI platform that converts text prompts into full video. Designed for users from veteran content creators to absolute beginners, the tool leverages the capabilities of Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.

At the heart of this platform is integrated with some of Google’s advanced AI models. This starts with Imagen 3, the company’s cutting-edge image generation tool that converts text prompts into initial images. From there, Veo 2 is Google’s AI model for video creation, taking over by turning images into dynamic videos.
VEO 2 offers a variety of customization options. Users can choose from a variety of camera styles, including drone-like shots and smooth frying pans. You can also fine-tune the frame rate and duration of the video. If some of the generated video is not suitable to the user’s preferences, the Magic Eraser Tool available on Google Pixel devices will allow you to quickly remove unwanted elements.
Once the video visual is locked, the platform uses Chirp, one of Google’s AI voice models, to add narration. To complete the production, background music is generated using Lyria, a model developed by YouTube and Google Deepmind.
All of these features are available within the same workspace, allowing you to create professional-looking videos from scratch without the need for a production team. With this launch, Google aims to redefine how people approach video creation and open the door to new possibilities for content makers across a variety of industries.
