Box and Adobe have announced a new partnership. Adobe Express, known as the jack-of-all-trades for image editing, now comes with the application.
Adobe Express is an app within Adobe’s Creative Cloud. It’s a relatively simple solution for content creation, but it’s more limited than Photoshop, for example. It still includes the AI-powered Adobe Firefly, which previously required launching a separate application for Box users.
Inside the Box Sandbox
A big benefit of collaboration is that you no longer have to move your Box files to another location for content creation. For example, if you want to change an image in a relatively limited way, you don’t have to leave the secure environment of Box.
Potential use cases include marketers who want to make small changes to images for a campaign, human resources teams who want to personalize images, sales staff who want to make new pitches on top of existing content, and more. In other words, it expands the end user’s freedom of movement within the Box sandbox.
Preventing the spread of content
“As businesses create more content, Box leverages AI in a secure ecosystem to foster collaboration, reduce content proliferation, and manage risk,” said Box CEO. , says Aaron Levie. “We are excited to partner with Adobe Express to enhance our offering with the world’s best creative tools and commercially secure AI. As a result, all Box customers and users will have a single, secure, intelligent Our content management platform makes it easy to create, collaborate, and securely manage your digital media.”
The collaboration between Box and Adobe has existed for some time. For example, it was already possible to view and edit documents within Box through components in the Adobe suite. New features reduce complexity when performing simple edits. However, if you want to play around with your images, you’ll probably need to switch to an app like Photoshop or Canva.
