Mayfield Institute of Technology tarleton state university is officially accepting applications for its new Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree programs in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) starting in Spring 2025.
This cutting-edge field of study is uniquely designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in increasingly sought-after technical concentrations.

“The introduction of these two new degrees in artificial intelligence will establish a strong talent pipeline in a rapidly expanding field critical to the Texas economy,” said Dr. Rafael Randaeta, dean of the Mayfield College of Engineering. I did.

Courses within this program provide students with a broad introduction to AI and the related science and mathematics concepts needed to understand this field. Then, explore key areas of AI, including neural networks, computer vision, robotics, autonomous systems, and reinforcement learning.

Initial courses will be offered to first- and second-year students starting in January 2025, and will open to third- and fourth-year students in the fall.
