AI Security Research Institute receives initial government funding of around £8m
UK universities, intelligence agencies and industry experts will collaborate to establish a new institute focused on security research in artificial intelligence.
Announced by the Government at the NATO Cyber Defense Conference on November 25, the institute will work to strengthen the UK’s ‘cyber resilience’ and help the country gain an advantage in the ‘new AI arms race’.
