Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment, Sharda University, in collaboration with Jagran New Media, will be organizing a national seminar on January 22, 2025. The theme of the seminar is “Efforts to Combat Misinformation: Promoting Fact-Checking Practices.”
The program will begin at 10 am at Anand Swaroop Auditorium, Block 45, Sharda University. It will be held in hybrid mode, with participants able to participate in person or virtually.
Purpose of the seminar
The purpose of this seminar is to discuss the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and fact-checking technologies in combating fake news and misinformation in the digital age. In this forum, experts will present their latest research, ideas, and solutions on this topic. The event will also feature a special workshop with Google News Initiative (GNI) fact checkers, where attendees will receive hands-on training on how to identify misinformation and use effective methods to counter it.
