Astrazeneca, Ericsson, Saab, Seb and Wallenberg Investments said on Friday that they will jointly launch an artificial intelligence company to develop advanced AI infrastructure for Swedish companies.
According to Wallenberg, the company’s Sferical AI aims to increase the competitiveness of the Swedish industry by providing AI computing power with an integrated, secure infrastructure.
The announcement follows a partnership with chipmaker Nvidia in May, providing Swedish companies with the latest generation of AI data center platforms.
The Wallenberg Family foundation has major stocks in Astrazeneca, Ericsson, Saab and Seb.
