Renowned AI educator, content creator, and author Robinrafan has earned yet another major international honor for his outstanding global contributions to artificial intelligence education and advanced content creation. He won the Best AI Educator Award in the Content Production category at the Dhallywood Film and Music Silver Jubilee Awards 2026, one of the most prestigious entertainment award platforms related to the Bangladeshi diaspora.
The award ceremony was held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on January 9, 2026, marking a historic milestone for the event. For the past 24 years, the Dhallywood Film and Music Silver Jubilee Awards have traditionally been held in the United States. The 2026 edition was held in Bangladesh for the first time and made history by bringing together some of the biggest names in film, music, fashion and emerging technology.
According to the award’s jury, advanced filmmaking and professional content creation processes are increasingly being performed through artificial intelligence, fundamentally reshaping creative workflows across the industry. In selecting the winner of Best AI Educator in Content Creation, the judges conducted an extensive and selective evaluation process for all nominees. The evaluation focused on originality, technical depth, real-world applicability, and global impact. After rigorous scrutiny, the Board of Directors reached a unanimous decision to recognize Robin Laffan for her pioneering role in integrating AI education with professional-level filmmaking and content production.
The jury further emphasized that a significant number of individuals who trained directly under Robin Laffin are expected to make meaningful contributions to the global film and media industry in the future. They expressed strong confidence that his structured and advanced teaching methodology is shaping a new generation of creators who can apply artificial intelligence at an advanced level to impact the industry. This long-term impact was cited as a key factor behind the final award decision.
Due to prior international commitments, Robin Laffan was unable to attend the ceremony in person. The award was officially accepted on his behalf by content creator Aronno Gia, who represented him at the event.
This recognition follows another notable international milestone for Robin Laffan. In November 2025, he was honored at the London Iconic Star Awards in the UK, winning the title of AI Educator of the Year, further strengthening his position as a globally respected authority on AI education.
The Dhallywood Film and Music Silver Jubilee Awards 2026 also celebrated excellence in film, music and performing arts. Shakib Khan, one of Bangladesh’s leading actors, won the Best Actor award, and renowned film director Raihan Rafi was recognized for his contribution as a director. In the music category, popular singer Imran was recognized for his influence on contemporary music, while Adnan Al Rajeev was recognized for his innovative work in creative direction and visual storytelling.
Actors Irfan Sazad, Palash, Tanzin Tisha, Mehazabian Chowdhury and veteran actor Misha Sodagor were also among the winners, along with many other notable names from the entertainment industry.
Besides the awards ceremony, the evening showcased a vibrant lineup of cultural programs, including live music performances, drama showcases, and fashion shows, highlighting the creative diversity and cultural richness of Bangladesh’s entertainment sector.
