While much of the focus is on generative AI, Adobe continues to roll out workflow-focused AI capabilities across its Creative Cloud suite. And today we have big news for video editors using Premiere Pro.

At Sundance 2025 in Utah, the creative tech giant unveiled a new AI-powered media intelligence tool that automatically analyzes visuals across thousands of clips in seconds. Available in Premiere Pro in Beta, it can identify the content of each clip and make it searchable by text, potentially saving video editors hours of footage as they search for it.

Please take a look

A new media intelligence and search panel in Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) helps video editors quickly find the best clips in huge libraries of files without having to manually sift through hours of footage. aims to speed up your workflow.

Media intelligence automatically recognizes clip content including people, objects, locations, camera angles, camera types, and more. This allows editors to simply enter the desired clip type into a new search panel. This displays interactive visual results, transcripts, and other metadata across projects.

Other updates in the Premiere Pro beta include AI-Caption translation, which is a bit riskier considering the reliability of automatic translation. After Effects, on the other hand, now has improved HDR support for longer playback footage from Canon C80 and C400 cameras, improved caching, and automatic upload to Frame.io.

In other news, Adobe and the Adobe Foundation announced an expansion of the Adobe Film & TV Fund, committing an additional $5 million in 2025 to support underrepresented creators and filmmakers. Adobe has announced that three filmmakers supported through grants to Latino Home last year will have their films premiering at Sundance 2025: María Gabriela Torres, Isabel Castro, Selena Y Los Dinos, Mario Fierro With Sweet Say you’re opening a movie with the Talkin’ guy.

Premiere Pro’s New Media Intelligence Tool follows the introduction of other AI-driven features, including Firefly-powered generation enhancements. See below for Premier Pro pricing in your area.
