US security camera company Arlo Technologies has announced a partnership with Origin AI, a pioneer in AI sensing technology.

Under the agreement, Arlo will have exclusive rights to market and sell Origin AI’s products TruShield and Allos worldwide. These products provide verified human presence detection via radio frequency (RF) signals emitted from existing WiFi devices in homes and businesses.

TruShield Security’s AI Human Presence Detection is designed to provide more accurate alerts, reducing unnecessary notifications and letting you know when a real intruder is in your home.

According to Origin AI, TruShield effectively eliminates false alarms caused by pets and environmental factors by distinguishing between human activity and other movements.

Through its latest partnership, Arlo said it plans to integrate Origin AI Sensing technology into future products powered by Arlo Intelligence, from AI-assisted motion detection to indoor/outdoor video surveillance to professional surveillance with video verification.

“Arlo has 10 years of experience in AI- and CV-powered security technology that helps customers feel safer, react faster, and enjoy greater peace of mind with 24/7 protection with Arlo Secure. “We have continued to invest in this business,” said CEO Matthew McRae. Arlo Technologies.

“We are excited to add Origin’s AI sensing capabilities to create a new integrated AI-powered security product that is unmatched in its intelligence and performance.”

As ChannelNews previously reported, Arlo has taken security to a new level in Australia with the launch of Arlo Secure 5, a customized security system that uses AI to deliver a host of new features.

By configuring the Arlo system with easy-to-use software, users can customize vehicle detection notifications and identify individuals such as family members, eliminating the need for unnecessary alerts that often drain battery power. .

Features found on more expensive professional systems are now available through the Arlo Secure 5 service under a monthly subscription program.

With Arlo’s AI technology, you can, for example, know who has arrived at your home with personalized alerts labeled with names from your private library of named faces, or know vehicles you’ve previously named. Receive personalized alerts labeled with and train Arlo AI. Create personalized custom detections to recognize specific objects or changes in your view to trigger custom notifications, like when the garage door is left open or the dog is on the couch . AI-powered notifications can also alert you when a fire is detected.

Arlo said further details of its partnership with Origin AI will be revealed later this year.
