Austrian corporate newsroom has secured €750,000 in pre-seed funding for its AI-supported content creation platform.
Founded in 2024, the platform describes itself as an “AI text production company” and allows users to quickly generate various formats such as articles, press releases, social media posts, and even entire books from text, documents, or audio recordings without prompting. AI-supported tools help communications departments, agencies, and editorial offices create content more efficiently, freeing up time for strategy, creativity, and in-depth research.
Compared to other AI solutions, Newsroom stands out especially for its high language quality. This tool allows you to adapt the language precisely and individually for each user. It also has data security. All data is processed exclusively within the EU.
Using Newsroom is fully functional without prompts. Users can upload text, documents, audio files, video files, or create content directly within the tool. Content is automatically converted into various formats such as blog articles, press releases, social media posts, and more. This allows you to adapt your text to all communication channels with just one click.
The company was initially founded within Hermann Hutter’s Compass Group and, after a successful initial stage, was transferred to the ownership of the founding team. Mr. Futter will remain on the board as an investor, but Hansi Hansmann and his Hans(wo)men Group will join as new investors. newsrooms. acquired Austrian technology media platform Trending Topics in June this year.
“We’re excited to partner with Newsroom,” said Erek Stoisser, CEO and co-founder of Newsroom.
“For newsrooms, we strive not only to simplify work processes, but also to sustainably transform content production and journalism.
Due to the great response in Austria, we are already planning to expand to other European markets in the coming months. ”
In addition to Stoisser, an experienced PR and advertising professional, the founding team includes CTO Matteo Rosoli, head of AI Alexander Maitz, and, since the acquisition of online media Trending Topics, its founders Jakob Steinschaden and Bastian Kellhofer.
“In this team, we have precisely the combination of expertise that our target groups need on a daily basis and the technical know-how to translate these requirements into practical solutions,” said CEO Erek Stojser.
Hansi Hansman said:
“I’m fascinated by the vision of newsrooms. In the future, just one person will be able to take over content creation for an entire publisher. I find the quality of their work particularly compelling.”
When Hermann Hutter first told me about the newsroom, I absolutely wanted to be a part of the idea.
The telecommunications industry is experiencing the second biggest disruption after search and social media. New tools like newsrooms have enabled industries that have experienced this crisis to operate more efficiently and generate profits. ”
According to Hermann Hutter,
“When we first saw this tool, we could immediately see the impact it would have on the communications sector and media industry. AI must be seen as an opportunity to create content more efficiently and synergistically.”
