Adobe has announced key updates to Firefly Services and positioned it as a comprehensive all-in-one home for digital marketers looking to streamline content creation.
Revamped Firefly Platform integrates Adobe Generation AI with Openai and Google’s Genai to improve the idea, creation and creation of content formats from a single interface.
Updates to the generative model include:
The Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra improve image quality and creative control over structure and output styles, including camera angle and zoom control. This allows for quick investigation and iteration of concepts. Images can generate resolutions of up to 2k. Image Model 4 Ultra renders complex scenes with small structures. The Firefly video model, now commonly available, allows users to generate 1080p video clips from text prompts or images. These can be fine-tuned using detailed camera settings and atmospheric and custom motion design elements. The Adobe Vector model allows designers to create editable vector-based artwork, logo variations, product packaging, icons, scenes, and text prompts.
App users can now use Google Cloud (Imagen 3, Veo 2, Flux 1.1 Pro) and Openai (Imaging Generation) models. Additional models such as Fal.ai, Ideogram, Luma, Pika and runways are expected to be added later this year.

Other additions include:
Integration with Creative Cloud. Firefly integrates with Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Express to provide AI assistance throughout content creation. Some firefly features are included in the Creative Cloud app. For example, Premiere Pro’s Generation Extension allows you to add generated clips to AI to extend shots. Firefly board. Available in public beta, Firefly Board offers an AI-first surface for mood boards, storyboards, brainstorming and exploring creative concepts. Users can iterate over variations and cooperate with ideas. The board makes it faster for teams to collaborate on ideas. Users can also mash up images to create hybrid concepts. Firefly service. This collection of Generate AI and Creative APIs brings Adobe AI capabilities to your business content production workflow. Accelerate tasks such as resizing assets in your marketing channel. The beta API includes Photoshop, Text to Video, and Video to Video. Text to Images and Avatar APIs are not beta and are fully available. Transparency and creator rights. Content credentials are automatically attached to content generated by AI. Beta content reliability apps allow creators to see their identity and show whether they prefer their work to avoid using it for AI model training.
The updated Firefly is now available online, with a mobile app coming soon. Firefly Board is available in public beta.
