Last week at GTC Taipei 2025, Luminys Systems Corp., a provider of security and smart building systems, and its parent company, Foxlink, announced “Foxlink’s integrated strategy in Smart Security and Robotics.” This is a blueprint for building an ecosystem that is globally tailored and AI-enhanced.

“At Luminys, we apply AI to the world’s most demanding issues, security, safety and mobility,” said Freddy Kuo, chairman of Luminys and special assistant to the president of Foxlink. “We look forward to continuing to work with our partners to provide versatile industry solutions.”

GTC Taipei, Kuo and Johnson Zhan Ph, Foxlink’s robot research and development leaders. We held a session entitled “Foxlink’s Progressive Security and the Manufacturing of NVLDLA-Driven Robotics.” They discussed how Luminys and Foxlink apply Nvidia technologies such as Jetson AGX Orin, Gr00t N1, Isaac Sim, Tensort, Metropolis, X-Mobility, and Riva.

Robot Dog is the next generation mobile security system

Foxlink said the robot dog uses Nvidia Edge AI and is currently equipped with facial recognition, modular sensing and autonomous navigation features. Taiwan-based Taipei claimed this marked “a progress in commercial security applications.”

The quadruped animal was developed in collaboration with synchronous robots. Foxlink added that its “robot-based smart manufacturing” will integrate a set of advanced features.

“These features converge on a single robotic platform optimized for enterprise and campus security, disaster response and patrol use cases,” FoxLink said.

The company also includes the dexterous hands of the GR00T. The hand admitted that it was “different from a robot dog in terms of immediate application.”

“We are proud to present our innovative infrastructure that stems from our creative and technical partnerships with our synchronous robot team,” Kuo said. “Their extensive experience in automation and robotics supports the development of advanced solutions such as security robot dogs and dual arm dexterous hands with the Nvidia Isaac GR00T N1.”

Foxlink part of the ecosystem for global deployment

Founded in 1984, Luminys said it will help businesses build smart, sustainable, and secure ecosystems with connected systems and services. Luminys said it is a US-based subsidiary of Foxlink, the global leader in Electronics Manufacturing, and is trusted by customers and partners around the world to deliver advanced technology worldwide.

Foxlink said its extensive transformation is anchored in a pillar of innovation across three borders.

Luminys (US) – Commercialization of AI security stacks in enterprise environments Ubilink (Taiwan) – Provides AI infrastructure through Ubilink, Taiwan’s largest AI supercomputing hub Sync Robotic (Taiwan).

The three companies said they will form vertically integrated, geographically dispersed ecosystems. Sync Robotic serves as a Taiwanese field lab for rapid prototyping and customer verification, while Ubilink provides a supercomputing backbone for AI training and robotics development. Luminys anchors market deployment in the US

Foxlink ensures that the technology is designed, tested and scaled with real-world commercial use in mind. Create a globally replicable smart security ecosystem built to meet the demands of evolving markets as well as groundbreaking products.
