Here’s how we used Follower.ai to generate short viral videos with AI.

Step 1: Start your free trial
First, go to followr.ai and select (Start free trial) on the bottom left.
Step 2: Choose a plan
Next, my followers let me choose a plan.
There were two categories: Social Media and AI Studio. We chose AI Studio because we wanted to take full advantage of AI capabilities. Start a 3-day free trial on any plan.
Step 3: Insert your company website
From there, Follower asked me what my company’s website was to extract the brand colors, description, and logo. There was also an option to skip it, but I added it anyway to simplify the process.
Step 4: Add your company details
Next, we needed to complete our company profile. You provided Follower with your company’s website, so it automatically extracted your company name and description.
Step 5: Define your brand voice
From there, I was asked to define my company’s brand voice. It includes:
Language topics and interests Target audience Tone of communication Language style
Once again, Followr automatically fills in empty fields, making the process easier. You can also add or remove suggestions, but I found them to be accurate.
Step 6: Set your brand style
The final step is to style your brand, including adding your logo and brand colors. Once again, Followr automatically extracted my logo and brand colors and I was able to complete the setup.
Step 7: Select Viral Short Generator
From there, I went to the dashboard. All AI tools were easily accessible to generate images, videos, avatars, viral shorts, schedule content, and configure settings.
I was most interested in the AI Viral Shorts Generator, so I chose this one on the bottom left.
Step 8: Generate video settings
They were then asked to describe their video idea.
There were several style guides below, but I decided to enter the prompt “Top 5 Productivity Tips for Remote Workers” and clicked “Generate Video Settings.” It costs 18 credits to generate.
Step 9: Edit the scene
Immediately, Follower started generating videos of me. First, we were shown each scene and started by selecting the AI voice for narration, scene images, and script. A video preview was on the right.
Step 10: Edit subtitles
I left everything as is and moved on to the next step at the bottom right: editing the subtitles.
When editing your subtitles, you selected the position, animation effects, font family, color, and font size.
Step 11: Edit the animation
The final step was to edit the video’s animation.
You selected the type of scene animation (zoom or pan) and scene transitions (enabled or disabled). From there, we generated a 156-credit viral AI short video.
Step 12: Post or download
My followers immediately started making my videos, which only took a few minutes. Once your video is complete, you can schedule it for posting or downloading.
Here’s how my video came about.
The AI voice sounds realistic enough to tell that it was generated by an AI. The images were also obviously AI-generated, but they stayed true to the script.
