Samsung releases UI 7 beta in India: AI and security enhancements focus

Samsung has officially launched the latest version of its mobile interface, One UI 7 beta, in select countries including India. Packed with AI-driven enhancements and robust security upgrades, this update is set to redefine the user experience across the Galaxy ecosystem. The rollout will begin on December 5th for Galaxy S24 series devices and will expand to other Galaxy devices in the coming months.

Key features of One UI 7

One UI 7 Beta introduces cutting-edge features aimed at improving device performance, user experience, and security.

Enhanced AI capabilities: New on-device AI capabilities streamline tasks and provide smarter recommendations and personalized interactions. Call transcription: Automatically transcribe recorded calls in 20 languages, including Hindi, harnessing the potential of AI for real-world applications. Privacy and security upgrades: Features such as USB connection blocking to prevent unauthorized data transfers. Detect and stop malware installation attempts from unverified sources with proactive alerts. Take advantage of high-speed 5G: AI applications are optimized for 5G networks, ensuring fast performance and seamless multitasking.

Availability and deployment

Samsung has confirmed that the official release of One UI 7 will coincide with the launch of the next Galaxy S series devices in early 2025. Initially, the beta program will be available for Galaxy S24 series devices in Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The company plans to extend this update to other Galaxy devices in the future to ensure broader access to the latest features.
