TCL officially introduced A400 Pro, a new QD mini LED art TV, to the Chinese market. Designed to blend high-end display performance with gallery-style design. The TVs come in five sizes: 55, 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches.
TCL A400 Pro Specifications
Since it’s an art TV, the screen has been designed to have a gallery-like interior. TCL uses a light walnut texture frame molded with a one-piece bending process, eliminating visible seams and keeping the exterior clean for a simple interior.
The matte canvas finish cuts out reflections and leaves the surface looking similar to painted artwork. TCL has kept the entire lineup slim, with a depth of 3.99cm up to 75 inches, 4.15cm for the 85-inch model, and 4.45cm for the 98-inch version.
The A400 Pro features TCL’s QD Mini LED panel technology with independent local dimming zones and high brightness control. It uses Quantum Dot Pro material that reaches 157% of the BT.709 color gamut and achieves a professional Delta E value of less than 0.99.
This TV supports native 4K 144Hz refresh rate and up to 288Hz through TCL’s DLG mode. Includes VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for gaming. TCL has equipped the TV with the TSR AI image engine for scene detection, backlight control, and motion optimization.
TCL ships the A400 Pro with Lingkong OS 3.0. This OS 3.0 supports app installation, casting from Android and iOS, multiprotocol file sharing, and user profiles. This interface allows you to instantly switch between TV mode and Art mode without boot ads. The system runs on Fuxi’s large-scale language model and includes more than 18 AI agents across education, entertainment, fitness, and other categories.
A400 Pro supports Art Mode, which features over 100 classic works of art from museums around the world. View them as still images or animate the elements to create dynamic paintings. The system also includes an AI generation tool that allows users to select styles and prompts to create custom artwork.
On the audio side, TCL uses an Onkyo Hi-Fi speaker system with a side-firing layout to maintain clarity even when mounted close to a wall. The TV supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, support for NAS protocols such as USB 3.0, Wi-Fi 6, FTP, SMB, and NFS. This TV has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage on most models.
Price and availability
The TCL A400 Pro is available in five sizes, with prices starting at 7,999 yuan (approximately $1,120) for the 55-inch model. The 65-inch version costs 10,999 yuan (approximately $1,540), and the 75-inch option costs 12,999 yuan (approximately $1,820). The 85-inch model costs 14,999 yuan (about $2,100), and the top-of-the-line 98-inch model costs 19,999 yuan (about $2,800). These are currently on sale at JD.com.
