Even if AI art becomes the norm, there are already more AI image generators than the world needs. But that doesn’t stop people from experimenting with new ways of expression.
Many AI image generators allow you to request a specific artistic style or combine several to influence the appearance of the images they produce. Super Random Studio has come up with a clever UI design that allows you to quickly change styles and compare them to your environment.

The UI of “Venngen” is very simple. There is a box to enter a text prompt that describes the image you want to generate, and there are two overlapping circles that you can scroll up and down to change the style modifiers (on the left) and environment modifiers (on the right).
When you click the arrow, the AI generates an image that combines a prompt and two modifiers in the area where the two circles overlap. Hover over the center of Venn to see the full image and click (Download) if you like it.

Of course, this is not how a Venn diagram works. AI image generation isn’t great either. All of the styles are quite cartoonish and clearly AI-like, with plenty of six-fingered hands. The highlight is a very clean and simple UI. Since it’s so easy to scroll through the different combinations and see what comes up, it’s actually a bit addictive and could potentially be interesting for people who need ideas for settings.
For now, using AI art in finished assets remains controversial and tends to provoke public backlash. Look at the reaction to Coca-Cola’s AI Christmas ad.
