The new partnership is set to use AI to turbocharge the dubbing process for media companies and content creators.
Israel-based DeepDub is a basic voice AI model company and is affiliated with New York PartnerA leading AI language intelligence provider for new services.
The pair have worked together to develop solutions that turn captioned content directly from Verbit’s platform into what they claim to be “expressive, broadcast-enabled dubbed audio.”
Dubbing is traditionally a very time-consuming process, but new products accelerate it significantly, allowing Verbit customers to localize their content more efficiently.
This solution utilizes both companies’ proprietary technologies.
Speech from DeepDub’s Emotional Text (ETTS) Tech uses AI and deep learning models to preserve the full emotional depth of the actor’s voice, capturing pitch, tone, pace and emotions, Verbit’s fascinating captioning solutions are considered to be industry-leading.
Customers benefit from fully automated dubbing triggered from the caption. Cloud-native deployments build maximum scalability and flexibility through APIs.
Thousands of licensed broadcast-ready voices are available, as well as their ability to replicate the voices of original actors and content creators.
It also promises advanced features such as voice tuning, accent control, and emotional expression.
The result is a streamlined localization process that ensures faster time to the market.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Ofir Krakowski, CEO of DeepDub. “Localization has long been a bottleneck in global content distribution. By promoting ETTS technology into Verbit’s workflow, it connects accessibility and localization under one roof, providing the scalability that global media companies are expanding and expanding speed of discrepancies.
Verbit general manager Doug Karlovits added: “The partnership with DeepDub will bridge the gap between caption and localization, demonstrating our commitment to providing best-in-class global language solutions, ensuring that our customers have easy access to high-quality AI dubbing on the Verbit platform.”
The increased use of sophisticated AI in dubbing has raised hopes in the film industry that foreign language films may become more popular in the US.
