All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wipro GE Healthcare to set up an AI Health Innovation Hub.
The new hub will focus on developing products and solutions that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes through more accurate diagnosis, innovative treatment protocols, and real-time patient data tracking.
As a technology partner, Wipro GE Healthcare will invest approximately $1 million over the next five years to co-develop, test and deploy intelligent systems and workflow solutions in cardiology, oncology and neurology.
As the hub’s clinical partner, AIIMS will provide multimodal clinical input for evaluation, feedback, and deployment of GE HealthCare’s AI-enabled solutions.
A joint working committee from both organizations will oversee the collaboration, including clinical research and academic engagement.
