The Aston Business Hub provides practical support to founders and leadership teams, helping them identify opportunities, prioritize investments and create a clear roadmap to scale their business.
Designed to meet the needs of startups and small businesses, the hub offers adaptable workspaces, hot desks and collaboration spaces. Companies based on this site also have access to a group of students and graduates looking for jobs and jobs in Birmingham.
Academic researchers and students on Aston University’s PhD+ program will also be able to collaborate with companies in the hub, gaining access to advanced expertise and new ideas to help companies grow.
Businesses can choose Gold, Silver, or Associate membership packages to access different levels of support and resources.
Professor Gurpreet Singh Jagpal, Chief Commercial Officer at Aston University, commented: “This new business hub marks Aston University’s significant investment in the city of Birmingham and we are delighted to play a leading role in supporting the city’s innovation and enterprise ecosystem.”
Serial entrepreneur and technology expert Yanis Maos will serve as the Hub’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Businesses with Gold membership receive one-on-one consultations with Maos, as well as access to monthly drop-in sessions.
