French financial software company Linedata has acquired Pune-based AI Company Nroad. EuroNext Paris-Listed Linedata is a global provider of asset management and credit technology, data and services.
Aashish Mehta is the founder and CEO of Nroad and operates both Pune and Boston. The company specializes in processing unstructured financial data using AI. NROAD’s clients include global banks, rating agencies, and payment processors.
Approximately 80% of enterprise data remains unstructured, poses a major challenge, especially for regulatory industries such as financial services. Traditional Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions often wrestlew with content diversity, language complexity, and local nuances. Noad takes a deeper approach by capturing intentions, domain-specific themes, interactions, and a broader business environment within this data. NROAD’s Combus Solution utilizes AI and machine learning (ML) to decode unstructured data and documents, and transform raw data into actionable insights and business applications.
Linedata said the acquisition combines NOAD’s AI technology with extensive financial software and data expertise to accelerate innovation. As the volume of financial data continues to grow exponentially, Linedata believes the acquisition will help clients streamline operations, reduce costs and gain deeper insights. This improves Linedata’s ability to assist financial institutions in managing complex, volatile, and unstructured data via AI. Additionally, the acquisition strengthens LINEDINATA’s position in the US market.
