SINGAPORE – Innovators from companies big and small are getting ready to come together.
The newly launched Design AI and Tech Awards (Daita) has a new backer: multi-asset investment firm Granite Asia. Granite Asia offers all finalists a golden ticket to its network and consulting time with Senior Managing Partner Jenny Lee.
Co-organized by Business Times (BT) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), the competition inspires innovators from start-ups and businesses large and small to create ground-breaking projects that leverage design and technology to tackle real-world problems. Lee said the true potential of artificial intelligence (AI) lies in its ability to solve real-world problems and provide meaningful value to businesses and communities.

There are three award categories: product design, system design, and space design.
There will be three finalists in each category, and prizes will be awarded to the top solutions in each category. The winner will be invited to the presentation.
Nine finalists will have access to events, masterclasses and networking opportunities with venture capital (VC) firm Granite Asia, and three finalists will receive additional consulting time.
