The third edition of the Crypto Content Creators Campus (CCCC) was held in the city of Lisbon. The event focused on monetization in the new Web3 era, creating more revenue opportunities and new ways to connect and build communities in emerging areas.
From November 14th to 17th, the Bitcoinist team covered the event from the ground, speaking with influencers, key figures, and executives in the Web3 space.
ByBit CEO declares a new era of “FinFluencers”
The event was kicked off by Ben Zhou, CEO and co-founder of ByBit. During his intervention, Mr. Zhou spoke about the evolution of monetization, affiliate marketing, and the changes that are forcing the evolution of this field.
From AI to regulation, Chou declared that a new “era of compliance and finfluencers” will usher in the next five years. For Bybit’s CEO, this new era brings “unprecedented opportunities,” including a broader reach beyond crypto-native users, the convergence of TradFi and Web3, and the exchange’s evolution into a one-stop wealth platform.
He said that as the global licensing regime continues to take shape, creators will have to decide whether to promote compliant or non-compliant platforms, knowing that eventually regulations will catch up.
“People trust people faster than brands,” Chou said. “But as cryptocurrencies become a regulated global financial system, creators who build for the long term, not shortcuts, will shape their future.”

Maye Musk on Crypto Content Creator Campus: Building Community in the Age of Web3
On the final day of the event, May Musk, who has decades of experience in fashion, nutrition and media, spoke about the foundations of a lasting personal brand that can be monetized, with a focus on authenticity and staying “true to yourself.”
Musk was joined by Musa Tariq, former head of marketing at Airbnb, Apple and Nike, and Philippe Ben Mohamed, head of digital innovation at Tomorrowland. The panel discussed sustainability and how creators can ethically monetize their communities in the increasingly competitive Web3 space.
“Content creators need to think of themselves as entrepreneurs with the opportunity to have multiple streams of income,” Tariq says. The executive emphasized the importance of identity, noting that knowing what a brand stands for and how it differentiates itself is critical. “Brands that stand the test of time are the ones that know who they are, stand behind their actions and make choices,” Tariq concluded.

Optimize your content with AI: A conversation with Sergei Loiter
We had the opportunity to speak with Sergei Loiter, CEO of Search, AI, and Adtech at Yango, about the impact of AI on digital marketing, content creation, and monetization in the Web3 era. he told us:
Q: From your perspective, how has Web3 reshaped digital marketing so far? Will we see real innovation in this space?
Sergei Loiter: AI has long been a part of digital marketing, but generative AI (the AI that everyone is talking about today) has completely reshaped content production and the way creators work. These tools allow you to create content faster, cheaper, and experiment more freely. These unlock creative possibilities that were previously unavailable. AI tools are transforming industries, especially content creation and production.
Q: Let’s talk about monetization. How do you compare the current status of Web2 and Web3? And do you see AI as a disruptor or an enabler for creators?
Sergei Loiter: I don’t think there is much difference between Web2 and Web3 when it comes to creators and monetization models. The main difference lies in the type of content created. AI, on the other hand, offers great potential. Those who learn how to use these tools effectively will always have an advantage.
Q: Lastly, do you have any advice for new creators who want to start monetizing and grow their audience? What tools do you recommend?
Sergei Loiter: First, think of content as a product. Let’s start with your audience. Who is your audience, what do they want, and where are they consuming your content? Once you understand that, treat different platforms as distribution channels. Don’t stick to one thing; diversify your content and tailor it to each.
Monetization should not be the goal. That should be the result. If you focus on creating value and quality content, followers and income will naturally follow. Don’t be afraid of failure. Learn from your mistakes and keep evolving.
