February 19: Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company specializing in industrial automation and digital transformation, closed the 7th India Inc On The Move in Mumbai.
The event brought together industry leaders and technology innovators from across India to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI), digitization, and sustainable practices on Indian manufacturing. The discussion highlighted how next-generation technologies can accelerate the transition to smart and sustainable manufacturing, positioning India to lead in emerging sectors such as semiconductors and electronics, while driving transformation across key industries such as automotive, life sciences, and food and beverage. Together, these changes will be critical in strengthening manufacturing’s contribution to the vision of Vikshit Bharat by 2047.
IIOTM 2026, the theme is “The Future is Here: Smart”. Sustainable. AI-powered manufacturing attracted more than 1,200 attendees, with more than 30 sessions and 70 distinguished speakers. The event was supported by a comprehensive exhibition floor with 30 demo booths showcasing interactive and advanced technology solutions.
In his keynote address, Dilip Sawhney, Managing Director, Rockwell Automation India said,

Key discussions focused on AI-powered autonomous operations, software-defined manufacturing, and intelligent sustainability, with perspectives spanning automotive, life sciences, food and beverage, and semiconductors. The agenda included keynotes, plenary sessions, fireside chats, panel discussions, and customer use cases, complemented by roundtables and a dynamic exhibition space.
